Terry Bradshaw’s Grandchildren: All 4 Names, Ages & 2026 Updates

Seven days from now, on March 8, Terry Bradshaw’s youngest grandchild turns two. His oldest, a 12-year-old equestrian competitor, once told him on national television that she was cuter than he was. Somewhere in between, there is a four-year-old being raised on a horse ranch and an eight-year-old with his father’s hazel eyes. The NFL Hall of Famer and longtime FOX NFL Sunday co-host has four grandchildren now, and all of them call him the same thing: Pappy.

Here is everything confirmed about each one.

How Many Grandchildren Does Terry Bradshaw Have?

Terry Bradshaw has four grandchildren — two granddaughters and two grandsons. Three of his daughters have children. His stepdaughter Lacey Hester has two kids, Zurie and Jeb. His biological daughter Erin Bradshaw has a daughter named Jessie. His eldest biological daughter Rachel Bradshaw welcomed her first child, a son named Cason, in 2024.

Terry and his wife Tammy Bradshaw live in Texas, near all three daughters and their families.

Zurie Hester: Terry Bradshaw’s First Grandchild

Zurie Hester was born on April 22, 2013, and is Terry’s first and oldest grandchild. Her mother is Lacey Hester, the daughter Tammy Bradshaw brought into her marriage with Terry. Lacey married chef Noah Hester in August 2016, and Noah has been Zurie’s stepfather since before she was old enough to know the difference. Zurie’s biological father has never been publicly named. Lacey addressed it only once, sharing a social media post about a biracial child alongside the message that parents not matching simply does not matter.

Zurie has known Terry as Pappy her entire life. He married Tammy in July 2014 when Zurie was fourteen months old.

Zurie on The Bradshaw Bunch

When The Bradshaw Bunch premiered on E! in September 2020, Zurie became the most talked-about person on the show within weeks. Her nickname was “Zuriecane.” She was rarely impressed by her famous grandfather, and that dynamic was genuinely funny television. Her own line from the show still gets repeated: “I don’t know what the big deal about Poppy is. I mean, I’m a lot cuter.”

She also talked Terry into letting her give him a back wax after pointing out he looked like Bigfoot, which he apparently allowed without much argument.

Terry’s side of that relationship was equally obvious. In a 2021 episode he said: “My granddaughter, Zurie, and I have a special relationship. I really enjoy spending time with her.” On her eighth birthday that April, he wrote on Instagram: “Happy birthday to my little princess. I love you dearly.” Her aunt Rachel Bradshaw described her to reporters as simply “a little show stealer.”

Zurie’s Equestrian Career

Away from the cameras, Zurie competes in horse shows, following the path of her aunt Erin Bradshaw, an American Paint Horse Association world champion. In July 2020, at seven years old, Zurie entered her first competition at Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses Ranch and won her division and first prize overall. She has collected multiple championship wins since and also plays soccer.

She is 12 years old now and, by every account, still completely unintimidated by her famous grandfather.

Jeb Hester: Lacey and Noah’s Son

Jebediah Hester, known as Jeb, was born on June 3, 2017. He is Lacey and Noah Hester’s first biological child together and Zurie’s younger brother. Lacey has called him “an angel.” He has blonde hair and hazel green eyes and, by family accounts, looks closely like his mother.

Jeb appeared in The Bradshaw Bunch during its 2020 to 2022 run but was a toddler for most of it. The family relocated from Hawaii to Texas in August 2021, and Jeb and Zurie started school there that fall. He is eight years old and lives in McKinney, Texas, where his father Noah runs Hamm’s Meat + Market, a local institution that Noah and Lacey purchased and revived.

Jessie Paxton Weiss: Erin Bradshaw’s Daughter

Jessie Paxton Weiss was born on December 18, 2021. Her parents are Erin Bradshaw, Terry’s younger biological daughter, and Scott Weiss, a professional horse trainer. Erin and Scott married in May 2017.

For seasons of The Bradshaw Bunch, Terry pushed Erin to have a child. He brought oysters to a family lunch and told the cameras: “I’ve been hearing about having a baby for a long time now. I thought the oysters would ‘inspire’ you.” When Jessie finally arrived, just before Christmas, Terry posted on Instagram: “Here she is! Congratulations to my daughter, Erin, and her husband, Scott. This is the best Christmas gift ever.” Erin shared a photo of Terry holding the newborn and wrote: “Pappy and Nannie came to visit today. Safe to say Jessie is loved and spoiled.”

Jessie is four years old and is growing up on Erin and Scott’s Texas horse ranch. Erin’s own Instagram bio puts it plainly: “World Champion Equestrian | Mom to Jessie Paxton Weiss.” Horses are already part of Jessie’s daily life. In a 2025 interview with Cowgirl Magazine, Erin credited Terry directly for her own career path: “[My dad] put me on a horse when I was 5, and really let me start living that dream. Without him, I don’t really think I would have even started riding.”

The March 2025 Tornado

In early March 2025, a tornado hit Erin and Scott’s Texas ranch at 5 a.m. Two outbuildings were destroyed. A baby foal was killed. Jessie, Erin, and Scott were unharmed. Erin posted on Instagram: “It got a little western at 5 a.m. here. Two of our loafing sheds got tossed like golf balls… we are heartbroken to lose a baby, but things could have been worse.”

Cason Bradshaw Lybbert: Rachel Bradshaw’s Son

Cason Bradshaw Lybbert was born on March 8, 2024, and turns two years old this Sunday. He is the son of Rachel Bradshaw and her husband Chase Lybbert — and Terry’s most recent grandchild.

Rachel’s road to this moment was not straightforward. Her first husband, Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas, died in a car accident on September 20, 2014, just three months after their wedding. Terry became her closest support during that period and, over time, persuaded her to return to music. She eventually performed live again at the Grand Ole Opry.

She met Chase Lybbert, a childhood friend, in June 2021. Their families had known each other for years, and their mothers had been trying to get them together for over a decade. Rachel married Chase on March 25, 2023, at Denton Country Club in Texas. She told Newsweek at the time: “I’m marrying my childhood friend. Our families are so close. And solidifying that is so special, really, for all of us.”

When Cason was born, Rachel posted on Instagram: “There is nothing in this world that I love more than my son. Being a mom makes so much sense now.” At eight months, she shared a video of him crawling: “Happy 8 months today my sweet sweet little boy.”

Then in December 2024, she posted a moment that captures the whole Bradshaw-grandkid dynamic better than anything else. Cason was sitting in front of the television watching FOX NFL Sunday. Terry appeared on screen. Rachel captioned it: “He is mesmerized right now wondering why Pappy is on his TV.”

Terry mentioned Cason by name in a September 2025 AOL interview, at the time of the Bradshaw family’s cookbook release: “Rachel’s a fantastic cook, and she’s come up with some of her own recipes she makes for her husband and young son, Cason. I have a sweet tooth, and I love her chocolate chip cookies and blueberry muffins.” The Bradshaw Family Cookbook, published by Flatiron Books, hit the USA Today bestseller list within seven days of its September 16 release.

Terry Bradshaw at 77: What “Pappy” Actually Looks Like

Terry Bradshaw is still co-hosting FOX NFL Sunday, a role he has held since 1994. He beat bladder cancer in 2021 and Merkel cell skin cancer in 2022 and declared himself cancer-free by June 2024. When asked about retirement, he said at Super Bowl LVII media days: “I told Fox: if I could just die on the show, think about the ratings, right?”

That is the public version. The one his grandkids know is the man who let a child call him Bigfoot, who announced Jessie’s birth like a playoff win, and who had no idea his grandson was watching him on television and trying to work out what was happening.

In September 2025, talking about the family cookbook, he described what matters most to him now: “Cooking together really brings us together as a family, especially with our grandkids.”

With four grandchildren between the ages of two and twelve — a show-stealing equestrian, a Texas-raised eight-year-old, a ranch girl already near horses, and a toddler hitting his second birthday this week — that family table is getting full.
