The family ties that never broke
The common version of her story has Debby leaving the Belichick world after the divorce and starting over with no connection to it. But the record does not bear that out.
She and Bill had bought a property on Nantucket together while they were still married, reported to be worth around $4.6 million, and the family held onto it. That is the cottage behind the 2016 award photo, taken a full decade after the marriage ended, with Debby standing next to her ex-husband and their son. She appeared at other family moments too.
